Film submissions for 17. MakeDox are open

MakeDox is looking for creative documentaries for its 17th edition — films with a personal signature, not reportage. Four competitions await: Onion (mid- and full-length), Young Onion (first or second features), Onion Seed (student films of any length) and Sliced Onion (shorts up to 30 minutes).

Submissions are open via FilmFreeway. The regular deadline is 16 November 2026, final deadline 15 January 2027; there is no entry fee. English subtitles are required for all films.
