Traveling Cinema returns to six villages this summer

A projector, a screen and a small crew are back on the road. Since 2010 the MakeDox Traveling Cinema has brought creative documentaries to 36 remote communities across North Macedonia — to squares where the last film screening happened half a century ago.

This summer’s route: Vevčani (14 June), Galičnik (27 June, right after the wedding festival), Brajčino (11 July), Kratovo (25 July), Berovo (5 September) and Lazaropole (19 September). Screenings start after sundown, entrance is always free, and every evening ends with a conversation on the square. Bring a blanket.
